Jim Harbaugh Doesn’t Care If American Sniper Offends You!
Jim Harbaugh adds to the legend. The University of Michigan may not let it’s students screen “American Sniper” but he will show it to the football team because he doesn’t give two craps what people think.
Michigan Football will watch “American Sniper”! Proud of Chris Kyle & Proud to be an American & if that offends anybody then so be it!

Report: HS Coach Very Upset At Ohio State Over Treatment Of Player Leaving Program
You have to wonder how long HS coaches are going to send their kids to play for Urban Meyer at Ohio State. Cass Tech running back Mike Weber felt misled by Ohio State when his position coach, who recruited him, bolted to the Chicago Bears after Weber signed on the dotted line. Cass Tech Head Coach Thomas Wilcher wasn’t happy and felt like OSU showed Weber “no respect.”
Now comes another high school coach who is upset over Ohio State’s treatment of his player. From College Spun.
“Jamel Dean, a four-star defensive back who enrolled early at Ohio State this winter, will be leaving the Buckeyes’ program, Eleven Warriors first reported earlier today.
The 6-foot-2, 200-pound cornerback has dealt with multiple knee injuries over the past couple of years and was not cleared by Ohio State’s medical staff. He has not been practicing with the Buckeyes spring. Dean, ranked the No. 32 cornerback in the 2015 class by 247 Sports’ Composite Rankings, will be leaving OSU altogether. “

At some point this will begin to hurt Urban Meyer and Ohio State. You have to have a small bit of integrity in the Midwest. Maybe coaches from the Midwest doesn’t have the stomach for Urban’s nonsense?

Today “Big House Nation” talked with former Wolverine and MLB pitcher Lary Sorensen.
VIDEO: Recap Of The 2015 Michigan Spring Game
It was a mixed bag for the Wolverines in their first public showing under new Head Coach Jim Harbaugh. The game was sloppy and there were many reasons for it, but if you watched the game by individual positions and player, you could get a lot of takeaways from the game today at Michigan Stadium.
The Quarterbacks aren’t great but they aren’t awful. Shane Morris had a nice day after getting off to a rough start and finished 11-of-24 for 135 yards, the 14-yard touchdown to Jaron Dukes and an interception that should have been caught by his receiver. He also had a drop from Amara Darboh, who later had a nice 37 yard catch from Morris.
Harbaugh on Shane Morris, “he (Morris) played with real good courage in the pocket.” THAT is important as the biggest knock on Morris to this point is he wilts when the heat comes from the defense. Good sign for the QB.
As for the leader at QB coming out of Spring practice? “If I looked at it overall this spring ball, Shane would be ahead,” Harbaugh said after the game. “The competition will rage on starting tomorrow into April, into May and certainly in June, July and August.” You can bet the competition will get even more attention this fall when Jake Rudock transfers in from Iowa. To his credit Morris isn’t scared off by the competition “You can bring in 100 quarterbacks, it’s not going to matter to me,” Morris said Saturday.
I’d bet Rudock will win the job and start in 2015, but Morris’s development will be crucial as he will have to be prepared to play even if Rudock does win the position. Rudock comes to Michigan with a ton of experience in the B1G as a starter and he wouldn’t be transferring to Michigan is he didn’t think he would start in Utah on September 3rd. No word on why Malzone and Morris were the only two QB’s to take snaps in the 2015 Spring game.
Overall, Harbaugh claimed he felt good about the Spring Game.
Among the players Harbaugh was impressed with today were Chris Wormley, Lawrence Marshall and Jabrill Peppers.
When asked why some of the bigger names on defense like Mario Ojemudia and Taco Charlton weren’t playing, typical Harbaugh response!
**Interesting note, even though it was announced last week that all players would wear black shoes, more than one wore maize footwear, including Pepper and Countess. That will change in the fall.

What Does Jake Rudock’s Transfer Mean For Michigan?
In the short term it means fans can breathe a sigh of relief as Michigan now has a legitimate B1G QB. It means Michigan can now take their time developing a backup for Rudock and allow Alex Malzone, Zack Gentry and Wilton Speight to develop their games and the Freshmen to take red-shirts if they can in 2015. Make no mistake, Rudock is coming to Michigan to play and his style would appear to be a good fit for Harbaugh’s new offense.
Rudock is not a super star, but he is a solid starter/ stop gap for Michigan! Here are Rudock’s stats the last two years as the starter at Iowa.
As you can see, he doesn’t turn the ball over and is efficient in the passing game. He isn’t going to make people forget Tom Brady but his stats are very similiar to Brian Griese’s when he was a senior at Michigan and we all know how that turned out.
His arrival is likely going to make it very difficult for Shane Morris to ever start at Michigan as it is assumed the young guys will be ready to go in 2016. Morris has a HUGE arm and is a good Michigan kid, but it doesn’t appear to be panning out in Ann Arbor. Best case scenario barring anything drastic is for Morris to be backup for the next two seasons.
